Cluster headache is one of the most painful and disabling headache diatheses. For an unknown reason, the diagnosis of cluster headache is given very commonly for any headache that is described as severe. We will be speaking about the clinical aspects, the pathophysiology, and treatment of both episodic and chronic cluster headache. We will also be comparing cluster headache with the other trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias to enable the clinician to differentiate between them and treat them all appropriately.
