UCI/UCD Train New Trainers Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship

Primary care providers are on the frontline for the delivery of psychiatric treatment. However, these providers are under-resourced and often have suboptimal training to support the vast majority of psychiatric care. The Train New Trainers (TNT) Primary Care Psychiatry (PCP) Fellowship program lays the groundwork for an expansion of psychiatric education for primary care specialists currently in practice, and who are providing the bulk of care for patients with behavioral health issues.
